Fernando A. Santiago, Jr., Ph.D., is Director of the Southeast Asia Research Center and Hub (SEARCH). An Associate Professor of History at De La Salle University, Manila, he has served previously as Assistant Dean for Research and Advanced Studies of the College of Liberal Arts. He is a Board Member and former Vice-President of the Philippine Historical Association (PHA), a member of the Social Science Research Ethics Board of the Philippine Social Science Council (SSERB-PSSC) and former member of the Advisory Council of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP).
